My reasons WHY...
Abstracts, Landscapes and Mixed Media
All my life I have been awe inspired and fascinated with the natural world and beyond, often escaping to places in my mind and then relaying them into my art, as a way to cope with my everyday life, especially when times weren't going so well.
It's my safe place, my happy zone and how I can release and express my emotions, joys and frustrations out. Giving me a sense of calmness and peace that relates to only me.
The Universe, Space and our wonderful planet Earth are the inspiration and subjects for my Aerial/Landscape/Abstracts & Mixed Media pieces to be created as I work to highlight the real and abstract colours, shapes and textures that nature has given us in the everyday.
My interpretation of what our planet looks like from above and how little snippets of the landscapes can create visual and artistic elements to capture and be influenced by in my work.
I am highly influence with mountains, expansive landscapes and even down to the little details of a plant, flower or section of a larger scene.
I have always believed that Art is the true representation and interpretation of how one sees their surroundings, or wants to see their surroundings. To me, Art is something that makes me happy, inspired and adds colour and purpose to a location.
It's the Artist sharing what and how they see something, in their own unique and creative way. How others interpret that is totally up to them, and it's part of the fun about being a creator, as I love finding out what viewers see in my pieces and how they make them feel adding a new perspective to each piece.
